Bhavana means "development" or "cultivating" in Pali. It's a concept that resonates with my approach to both personal and technical growth - a continuous process of learning and refinement.

My profession is probably closest to "Systems Programmer" (though I may be too high level to truly earn the title), but my interests span beyond software. I study Ancient Greek and hope to learn more languages in the future. As the blog title reveals, I am drawn towards the Dharma and its goal. I also am endlessly fascinated by mathematical and other technical topics.

As I write more, I expect that will give a better sense than this brief description here can provide.
